Car Free Day is simple – pledge to navigate through the day without using a car! This could mean working from home for the day (if possible), using transit to get to or from work, or running errands by walking or biking. Plus, you’ll be entered for a chance to win prizes from Tysons Central Connect!

How do I participate in Car Free Day?

Pledge to get around without using your car on Friday, September 22 by filling out the form at the link below. Then, use our Personalized Commute Plan tool and let us plan your car-free commute for you!

What are the prizes?

Two residents who take our pledge will win a $50 Nike gift card!

There’s also a chance to win a bonus prize when you submit a short testimonial through our pledge form. Tell us your favorite way to get around car-free and why – the first 15 residents who respond will automatically win a $5 Starbucks gift card!

Q: How many prize winners will be selected?

Q: When will prize winners be selected?

A: Prize winners will be selected on Monday, September 25. If you win a prize, we’ll send you an email to let you know that you won! If you win, you’ll receive your prize via email within 1 business day.

Q: Can I take the pledge multiple times?

A: No – the pledge can only be taken once per resident, and any additional submissions will not be included in the raffle. However, if multiple people in your household plan to go car-free, each person can take the pledge.

Q: Does working from home count as a car-free commute?

A: Yes! Working from home is one of the best ways to go car-free.
